Located in the Polanco district of Mexico City and as of today, is the best taco I have ever had. Its a total hole in wall, but I knew it had to be good because everyday there is a line up the block. They are famous for their cochinita pibil, Yucatán-Style Barbecued Pork - it’s also the only thing they served. It’s perfect. For over 30 years, they have been making this pork. Don’t be scared by the taco master using his hands to make your taco’s - it’s what makes these the best.
WHAT TO ORDER: cochinita pibil everything. There is the tacos of course, but also don’t miss the panucho, which is a tostada with beans spread on it, then fried and topped with pork. There is also a torta, which everyone seemed to be getting. Make sure to use their habanero salsa, it’s the real winner.
